Accentrate™ is a nutritional supplement designed to support the nutritional deficiencies associated with ADHD. Accentrate makes two products Accentrate™ and Accentrate 110™ for people over 110 lbs.
VWA was hired to manage the social media for the Accentrate brand by Fenix Health Science. The first thing we did was to take the brand through the proprietary VWA F.U.E.L branding process to gather insights regarding the brand, the consumer, and how the product could present itself to the target market. The product had been marketed based on the ingredients and how they were delivered to the body. While this was always a question with the consumers it did not address the underlying need for the product and the emotional stimulus for purchasing the brand. The F.U.E.L process revealed a very emotional element that had been missed in the past. Parents were often at a tipping point where they were considering starting their child on a stimulant medication that they could have to take for the rest of their life. The Accentrate promise provided them with an opportunity to try a non stimulant naturally derived supplement to address their children’s needs. This approach proved to be an emotional bridge for the parent that could address their medical or nutritional needs before they had to start a stimulant regimen.
From this insight, the Brain Healthy Nutrition campaign was developed. This is a series of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter posts that focused on happy healthy children who were well balanced in their life. Intermittently, we place product oriented messaging and promote these messages through the social media channels to gain new advocates. In addition, to answer the scientific questions with a more personal appeal, we used videos with Fenix Health Science experts to provide simple yet scientific information as to how the product addresses the issues at hand. In addition, we created a doctor’s office campaign providing physicians with information as well as waiting room collateral to widen the awareness among the professional community.
Within a short amount of time, sales of the Accentrate brand have doubled. Most notably the testimonials have increased dramatically and doctor recommendations have become a significant part of the business.
